Maybelline Colorama Blazes of Crystal- I am SO in love with this color! Apparently it was a dupe for Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure/Nubar 2010 but it's discontinued. The Nubar is $8 though, and the Sally Hansen is really hard to find...

WOODKID- Iron

The video for this is so amazing. I could watch it over and over. The filming is just so good! Plus, I'm kind of addicted to the song right now. I've been listening to it on repeat. The way the guy says some of the words is a little weird but I like it all the same.

Animal bone jewelry! I'm going to be making some myself. I've had some things in mind for awhile but I keep forgetting to bring back the bones I have (they're at my fiance's apartment).

Sphynxes in sweaters! They are just so ridiculously precious that I want to scream and flail my arms around! (Okay, I sound a little crazy...) When the boy and I get kitties, I am knitting them all little sweaters!

Treasure Trove of Cat Bones + My Desk Area

The other night, one of my friends told me it was important that I go meet him and upon arriving (after a freezing 5-minute walk), I was well-rewarded with a box labeled "cat bones." He works in the biology department at school and apparently, they were throwing this stuff out. The box contained eight entire skulls, two disarticulated skulls, and a whole bunch of bones. They're pretty gross and dirty though, and leaching grease. But I'm so excited! They're so precious and small!

This one is my favorite. It has double canines!

Yeah, I know it's weird that I'm in love with animal bones.

On a different note, here's my desk area (as seen from standing next to my bed, that's why there's pillows in the way). It's kind of messy right now because I was crafting, but I just decorated and I'm happy about it! I feel much more at home.

I need to learn better decorating skills though...I tend to get cluttery :(

My First Foray Into Blogging...

What do you even write for a first blog post?! Haha. I'll just recap my day a bit.
I woke up at 2 pm (I am a HUGE advocate of sleeping in when you get the chance!), painted my nails "Kiss Me Here" (a nice, stormy grey) by Pure Ice. It's a $.88 Wal-Mart type brand but I really liked the color! I added an awesome sparkly topcoat and little silver stars. I may or may not post pictures since I'm really not a big fan of my hands, but I really like how they look.

I also did a little earring making!

When I went to Michael's to get felt, I found all these cute little plastic animal foodwares, for $1 each. I had to get some of the cat ones...

I'm working on some more earrings right now. I'm feeling kind of lazy today and I'd really rather be just sitting around instead of messing with feathers and stuff, but whatever. :)

I think I'll post more tomorrow...I need to figure out some kind of schedule to keep with my posts, otherwise I know I'll stop posting entirely. Haha!
